Science Enlightment
Our science enlightenment class is an introductory course for children 6-8 yo exploring different topics in science. They will learn about a wide range of topics such as biology, astronomy, and technology. Each week will introduce a new theme where students can learn about the history of the given topic, explore different perspectives globally, and apply their newfound knowledge to future advances in the science industry. Students will improve their vocabulary and reading skills while learning about these topics and a chance to improve their creativity through a variety of activities and educational games. Some of the activities will include online simulations and arts-and-crafts to promote critical-thinking skills.

What will students learn?
While attending this class, students will gain a general knowledge of different branches of science and build upon the concepts in future classes. Students will learn about technological advances and devices, careers in healthcare and medical conditions, human anatomy, physics, environmental science, social studies, reading and critical thinking skills.
What’s the goal?
How do students benefit? Students will have improved their critical thinking and presentation skills. This class offers students a space to explore ideas and to think outside of the box. Students should learn to apply prior concepts in the scenarios provided in class; their problem-solving skills should expand and be able to come up with unique solutions for the task at hand.
